Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET /Dublin/Contract)

Our client has requested our assistance in recruiting a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work in a daily rate contract for a period of 12 months with possible extension.

You will join a dedicated automation team to work on an exciting new project, assisting with the overall testing of the product and work with some of the most advanced technologies.

The daily rate offered will be €500 per day and after a successful period of settling in, remote working (occasional requests to attend the office will be required, limited to 1-2 times per month)

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the overall R&D team to complete the overall testing of the new project.
• Prepare, deliver and record automated test cases and test plans
• Lead a team to review and implement new testing methodologies throughout the project
• Liaise with various cross functional stakeholders at all levels

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years software development experience
• Proven test planning, recording and analysing experience
• Strong knowledge of one or more programming language with the ability to write high quality code e.g Java, C#, Python, Javascript
• Experience of working in an agile environment
• Strong API and mobile testing experience
• Agile environment experience
